Elaine's story

This is Elaine, who I've known for several years. Her daughter was a friend of mine in high school. Thanks for sharing, Elaine!

During my first month of use, my hot flashes, which I had for 11 years since menopause, started changing, I noticed increased stamina and was able to sleep less and still feel good during the day, and during the last week of that month, I started losing weight. I was using the Might Three since the beginning. During the first three months, I lost a total of 13 pounds. In July 2008, I was diagnosed with macular edema (a swelling of the macula) and asked my eye doctor if I could try a natural remedy vs. using steroid drops in my eye four times daily. He asked me to come back in four weeks to check my eyes, and at that time, my visual field test results were the best I'd had in the past five years and everything was stable, so he advised me to keep doing what I was doing. He even wrote a letter to our insurance company so that we could use our Medical Savings Account to pay for the product. When I went for my eye checkup this year, everything was still stable and the vision in my right eye had improved. Eye migraines, which started in January of 2007, are a thing of the past. At my annual physical last November 2008, my good cholesterol went up 10 points and my Vitamin D levels were perfect. The nurse practitioner told me prior to the blood test that I would probably be on a Vitamin D supplement, as most people in this area were having deficiencies. Gradually, my hot flashes decreased in severity and frequency. I hardly ever have leg cramps at night anymore, and the latest improvement has been with fading of age spots. I look at the Reliv products as my long-term health insurance. I like to look at it as NHP insurance; i.e., nursing home prevention. I'm looking forward to the future now with regard to being proactive about my own health care and am glad I had a friend with the courage to introduce me to these products.

Still awake and don't need naps!

The more I'm learning about the company, the more I like it. If any of you want me to do an internet presentation on Reliv, just so you can learn more about the products and company, email me!

My 3 month old son was up until 11, then up at 1:30, 4:30, and 6 and I still woke up feeling refreshed! Maybe a little sore from sleeping on 6 inches of bed with him pressed up against me (my husband has it good these days - he gets 3/4 of the bed!) but I'm still feeling good!

Great news!!

Nicole's pregnant!

I'm not saying Reliv has anything to do with it, but hey, it didn't hurt :)

2 year old results

My 2 year old daughter has been on the products for about 3 weeks now. She's taking one kids shake in the morning and one after nap - well about a quarter scoop in a glass of milk each time. By the way, the kids shakes are DELICIOUS. She likes both chocolate and vanilla.

Anyway, I had noticed that she was having a lot more "meltdowns" lately. I don't know if it was frustration, her age, her new baby brother, or a combination. But I would just suggest something to her - like going potty or going somewhere she didn't want to go, and she would just collapse on the floor crying. Silly girl. But this week I have noticed that this was just not happening at all. Time outs were less frequent, she's listening a little better, and generally just seems to be in a better mood. Maybe she's feeding off me being in a better mood, but I'm happy that she's getting some great nutrition through taking Reliv.

Oh and sometimes I sneak a little kids shake too. I mean, come on, it has Omega 3's and I'm nursing. That justifies it, right? :) They are just SOOOO good!

Nicole's one month check in

The crazy thing that I have noticed is that I almost can't remember living with the severe fatigue that once plagued my life. I have been on reliv for 27 days here are some improvements.
My skin looks super healthy and it's nice and supple.
My nails are hard as rocks and gorgeous!!!
The dizziness that I experienced after the brain fog was 90% gone, is almost gone and continues to improve each day.
I have not worn socks to bed in the past few nights! I have noticed I am warmer on the inside then frigid cold. I don't have chills anymore that run up and down my body. My feet are still a little cold during the day, but I used to have frigid feet at night. My body temperature is warmer at night and I can not be more thankful.
I feel better and I am not living in so much fatigue and achy pain, I am more calm and receptive to those around me. I find myself talking to people in line and smiling at strangers! It's a wonderful thing! I never used to do that before.
I find myself not flying off the handle at every little thing. I approach life with a calmness, I think it is because I feel so much better.
The way I eat has changed. I don't get famished anymore. When I eat (which I have to force myself to eat because I am not really hungry), I eat enough to fill me up and not eat, eat, and eat. I rarely snack on anything sweet. I am making better choices with food. I eat less.
I have had a rash on my upper arms which was described by doctors as "false acne" since I can remember. It is 85% of the way cleared up and doesn't cause me as many problems as it used to.
I have noticed that I have a ton more energy and especially in the evening I am clear headed and energized! I no longer fall asleep at 7pm.
I have noticed that taking any supplements outside of reliv, I get immediate results. Take for instance, I was instructed to take dandelion supplement for water retention around ovulation. It worked immediately. I think my body is more receptive to the good I take in. I strive now to only take in good things for me and not unhealthy.
I am seriously, or was seriously, addicted to pizza. The thought of pizza repulses me now.
That is my one month improvements and I am no longer a skeptic. I am happy to benefit from reliv! I can't imagine not taking my shakes!

One Month Later

So this Saturday will be a month since we started taking the Reliv products, and I just placed my second order. I am really happy with them so far. I think the biggest thing I've noticed is that I feel a lot more calm all the time. Little things don't bother me. And there are a lot of little bothersome things in a home with a newborn and a toddler! So I would say that I feel like I'm being a better mother to my children just because of this one thing.

I've also noticed I'm sleeping better, and feeling refreshed when I wake up. I did not feel this way when I had my first child. I felt like I was dragging through the days after being up with her at night. I definitely have more energy and my body just feels better in general. I also feel like I can think more clearly. I'm also really happy that I can give my daughter this great nutrition.

Our pediatrician told me yesterday that I needed to be taking some sort of vitamin supplement while I was nursing. I'm happy to be taking Reliv, and knowing that 98% of the vitamins and minerals are being absorbed and passed on to him, instead of 15% absorption that I was getting from my prenatal vitamin. He grew 3 inches and 5 lbs in 2 months, so he must be getting some of this great nutrition too!

I have a few new people starting on the products, so they will be getting an assignment soon to write a blog post for me!
